The Mission 778x Integrated Amplifier is a compact and 80s-inspired hi-fi amplifier with a wide range of connectivity options that each deliver refined, precise audio quality. Offering both coaxial and optical inputs, the 778x enables direct connectivity to digital devices. It also has three studio-grade RCA inputs, including a moving magnet (MM) phono input for turntables. This enables exceptional analogue connectivity. If streaming is more appealing to you, the 778x has Bluetooth 5.0 built-in letting you stream your favourite music wirelessly from your smart devices in aptX and AAC codecs.
The 778x has a Class-AB power amplifier design that houses an efficient 200VA toroidal transformer. It also has an excellent pre-amp section built in, ready to optimise your favourite music, plus a hi-res ES9018K2M DAC offering a sampling rate of up to 384kHz (PCM) and DSD256. Control your volume and source selection with ease via the beautiful, 80s-style rotary dials.
The Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 Bookshelf Speakers are clear and precise with unmatched sound reproduction at their level. They boast curved, braced cabinets that not only allude to the premium aesthetic qualities of higher-priced speakers but also help to reduce unwanted cabinet vibrations and dissipate derogatory standing waves that can negatively affect your sound.
