The SB16 Ultra is SVS' full-size premium offering loaded with cutting-edge engineering and innovations to set it apart from not just the other offerings from SVS, but the entire Hi-Fi market. An eight-inch edge wound voice coil is the largest ever used in a consumer-grade subwoofer, improving sound quality and output to unprecedented levels. Combined with an advanced 1500 W Class D amplifier with discrete MOSFET circuitry instead of an integrated design for cleaner, noiseless operation, the SB16 sounds pristine and larger than life.

Massive 16" Driver

The SB16's full-sized fiberglass driver delivers the same power and performance as other SVS offerings, with even more low-end extension and higher sound output than anything else in SVS' lineup, rivalling many of the most expensive subwoofers available for Hi-Fi listening. The SB16 features a new 8-inch edge wound voice coil, reducing distortion, improving heat dissipation, and a linear frequency response with minimal power compression. Four toroidal ferrite magnets combined with this ensure a huge level of force going to its driver, the SB16 sounds punchy, present, clear, and utterly transparent. DSP from Analog Devices add options for advanced room tuning, optimising frequency response, and 56-bit filtering to achieve the very best sound quality you can.

App Control

The SVS Subwoofer app gives convenient wireless control over a range of DSP features and sound presets for particular settings. Crossover frequency, three-band parametric EQ, polarity, room gain, and more can all be set, stored, and adjusted to achieve your ideal sound.
