Q Acoustics M40 HD Wireless Music System, Walnut Overview
The Q Acoustics M40 HD Wireless Music System is a 2-way rear-ported set of micro-tower speakers suitable for hi-fi, gaming, and home cinema use. It offers an all-in-one solution, helping you cut down on hi-fi separates when space is limited or minimalism is preferred. At just 71cm tall, these are the most compact floorstanders around.
To help you cut down on separate hi-fi components, the M40 system includes both a passive and a powered speaker. The latter contains an entirely digital signal processing and power amplification system with digital to analogue conversion for subwoofer audio output and analogue to digital conversion for phono and 3.5mm jack inputs. The powered speaker can also function as either the left or right speaker in your system, allowing you to plug in wherever is most convenient.
The M40 system lets you stream wirelessly from compatible mobile devices and TVs, but there are plenty of other ways to enjoy your music with M40. For example, you can connect your turntable, CD player, or TV with the analogue inputs, or stream from online sources in up to 24bit/192kHz Hi-Res quality via the USB 2.0 input.
