In the second generation, the Mu-So boasts a wealth of upgrades that make it even more appealing. The inclusion of new drivers with larger magnets, influenced by Focal technology, enhances audio quality. With a 450-watt internal amplifier and a processor/chipset that is 13 times more powerful than its predecessor, the Mu-So delivers an unparalleled audio experience. The cabinet has been slightly enlarged to improve bass response and volume output. Additionally, a new access method to the internal components ensures easier repairs if needed in the future.
Moreover, the Mu-So 2 is compatible with multi-room setups, seamlessly integrating with other Naim products like the compact Mu-So QB, perfect for bedroom use. Two large custom bass drivers are supported by a sophisticated porting system with an outlet at the end of the cabinet. It was carefully designed to move large volumes of air with low turbulence for richly textured, low distortion bass.
Naim have collaborated with their partner Focal to develop improved and highly optimised drive units for Mu-so 2nd Generation resulting in more controlled and refined bass, lower distortion and greater excursion capability.
Beneath its anodised aluminium skin mu-so is alive with innovation. At its heart an active arrangement of six digital amplifiers deliver a total of 450 watts of power to six custom-designed speakers.

The whole mu-so cabinet sits on an illuminated base of high-grade acrylic which provides the foundation for the electronics and speakers to shine.
An extruded aluminium heat sink maximises thermal performance. The wooden speaker cabinet, designed for acoustic performance, is wrapped in a layer of high-grade aluminium to provide extra dampening for a distortion free sound.
