Emotiva BasX-A11 11 Channel Power Amplifier Overview
The Emotiva BasX-A11 11-Channel Power Amplifier has been designed to support high-power home cinema surround sound systems, delivering 140W RMS into 11 channels at four ohms. It is also capable of 105 watts into eight ohms, with a THD+N rated at less than 0.1%. The amplifier exhibits an A-weighted signal-to-noise ratio of less than 115 decibels.
The BasX-A11 is equipped with an arsenal of audio-grade features, including a robust linear power supply and Class A/B output stage, as well as transparent fault protection, and trigger input and output for full system integration. Its compatibility with almost any preamplifier or processor is ensured by the provision of industry-standard unbalanced RCA inputs.
For speaker connection, the BasX-A11 accepts banana plugs, spade lugs, or bare wires via the versatile five-way speaker terminals. All these features combine to deliver true audiophile performance, ideal for powering a 7.1.4 channel system when paired with a pre/pro like the MC1 or for bi-amping main LCR speakers in a 7.1 system.
