Are you a Fender player looking for the perfect turntable? Well look no further. The Fender x MoFi precision deck is designed with you in mind. The shape is designed by Yuriy Shishkov, who is a Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, and it uses the same material construction as the legendary Precision bass. So you can get the same Ash wood, 3-colour Sunburst finish and treatments that your bass guitar has on your record player. This is the record player for guitarists.

Robust build and resonance reduction

Made from the same ash wood as Fender bass guitars, each turntable plinth is made from a solid block of swamp ash sourced in the southern USA. Each piece of ash is fixed with attachment points, treated with resonance cuts to avoid the turntable picking up the unwanted resonance. Every turntable base is sourced, milled and finished with a classic 50s three-colour paint and varnish by Fender, before it is sent for assembly at the MoFi factory in Michigan. The turntable itself is based on the award-winning UltraDeck by MoFi, it features a Sturdy 1.3-inch thick, 3.1-kilogram Delrin POM platter with heavy feedback-reducing properties that are driven by a belt connected to an isolated synchronous AC motor. The AC motor is specifically designed to prevent resonance transmission, and it turns at a constant speed of 300 RPM to maintain speed and pitch stability.

10-inch custom Ultra-tonearm

Providing exceptional tracking capabilities and ultimate fine-tuning, the Fender x MoFi Precision Deck has a 10-inch straight aluminium tonearm with a fully adjustable counterweight and bearing assembly, identical to the UltraDeck. The tonearm itself features Cardas Audio wiring that provides a pure audio signal from the cartridge right through to the RCA output. The tonearm assembly has been designed to be as dynamic yet stable as possible, with a hardened steel gimbaled bearing, fully adjustable VTA and azimuth, and an advanced anti-skate retaining tracking accuracy.

MoFi MasterTracker cartridge

Attached to the tonearm is the MoFi MasterTracker moving magnet cartridge, hand-built in Japan. The MasterTracker features a full-milled aluminium body, housing V-twin dual generator magnets that sit parallel to the groove of any record it tracks. Ohno continuous-cast copper coils transmit audio signals from the cantilever to the magnet without interruption. On the cantilever is a trademarked MicroLinear™ stylus, this stylus tracks your record impeccably as it is shaped to replicate the nuances of a cutting lathe diamond, it will track the groove of your record in rigorous detail.
