Denon introduced its first Direct-Drive turntable, the DN302F, designed for broadcast studios back in 1970. Today, the DP-3000NE adheres to Denon's longstanding tradition of the Direct-Drive Motor System. They continue to use them for their maintenance of a steady rotation speed regardless of the chosen RPM or load. This turntable type is user-friendly, requires minimal maintenance, and achieves full speed nearly instantaneously.
Stable Yet Adjustable
The build of the Denon DP-3000NE has sound quality in mind. The adjustable insulator feet play a crucial role in safeguarding the playback from any vibrations that could be absorbed from the surface upon which the turntable is positioned. These feet can also be adjusted to perfectly balance the platter, ensuring the most precise tracking of the needle in the groove.
S-Shape Tonearm
This turntable boasts a meticulously designed S-shape curved tonearm, which ensures an optimised tracking angle regardless of the record's position. The newly enhanced Denon arm includes features such as cartridge weight adjustment and anti-skating adjustment (0-3 g), along with a freshly developed arm height adjustment (0-9 mm). These features provide comprehensive flexibility, allowing you to tailor your turntable to your preferred cartridges or custom mats.
PWM Motor Control
The Space Vector Pulse with Modulation (SV-PWM) introduces a novel approach to controlling motor spin. Essentially, the SV-PWM is an algorithm that manages the Pulse Width Modulation (PWM) module - the component responsible for powering the motor. This innovative method significantly minimizes harmonics within the motor that could potentially lead to overheating and torque variations.
