Key Features
The Audiolab 7000CDT is a cutting-edge CD transport unit that provides the highest quality CD playback available. CD transports are made for the sole purpose of transmitting the audio signal read from the CD to an external digital audio converter, their design is entirely devoted to accurately reading CDs. With the Audiolab 7000CDT you have precision playback and control over your digital media, featuring USB HDD playback, a new and improved mechanism, read ahead digital buffer and a full-colour IPS LCD Screen. Ensuring an uninterrupted signal is fed to your DAC, the 7000CDT is fitted with an optical and a coaxial output for connecting the CT transport in any situation, mitigating interference with signal transmission. The USB port allows you to connect to USB Audio devices and play high-quality digital files through it.
Compact build and ergonomic controls make the Audiolab 7000CDT a worthy addition to any HiFi setup. A low friction loading tray and the robust aluminium base and chassis work to reduce vibrations and disruption to the high spin velocity motor system, preventing skips and interference with the reading of the CD. Its ergonomic controls both on the included remote and the transporter itself, make it easy to understand and operate. Resembling the sequential series, the 7000CDT fits in perfectly with your existing Audiolab equipment. Powered by an internal PSU and connected to the mains Via an IEC cable, you'll find the Audiolab 7000CDT easy to set up and integrate into your HiFi system.

Everything about the Audiolab 7000CDT is designed to ensure your CDs are free from damage and your playback is uninterrupted by skips and poor CD reading. The low friction loading tray is designed to feed your CD into the reader as gently as possible and provide ultimate stability whilst the mechanism is operating. The high-precision optical system features an electronic data buffer that reads ahead to mitigate disc reading errors, this allows you to play damaged CDs that may otherwise be unplayable by average CD players. The aluminium chassis is both physically and electronically isolated, preventing vibrations and resonance from disturbing the mechanics and electronics.
Information is displayed on a full-colour IPS LED screen. The displays the track number, the track time, menu options, and functions and controls. Connect your transporter to your DAC via either an optical or a coaxial cable. Using a coaxial cable gives you a higher bandwidth and superior sound quality, however, the optical input will ensure zero radio or electromagnetic frequency interference and allow the transmission of a wider range of digital audio formats. The fact that the 7000CDT accommodates both makes it an adaptable and versatile machine. A USB port on the back allows you to play lossless digital media files such as WAV and through the CD transport.
Alongside the controls on the CD transport itself, a remote control is included. The ergonomic buttons on the front allow you to control the CD transport through the display screen, you can choose, rewind, fast forward, play and stop tracks aswell as eject CDs, change inputs, and browse the menu. A power button allows you to quickly turn the CD transport on or off and it has an automatic turn off feature to stop it from overheating. Its powered by an internal power supply, fed by a standard IEC cable, on the side of the IEC input is a switch that allows you to turn the power off to the unit.
