The Topping A Series A70 Pro is a fully balanced headphone amplifier designed for high-performance desktop and hi-fi audio setups. Capable of up to 17,000mW output per channel at 16Ω, it drives everything from easy-going earbuds to power-hungry planar headphones. The A70 Pro also features T'ang-ku-la technology. This module improves dynamic range to 147dB while keeping noise, distortion, and heat generation low, so your music stays clear for long-term use. Combined with a newly developed ultra-low noise input stage, the A70 Pro enhances signal purity and compatibility with sources.
In terms of usage, this headphone amplifier provides more power and control than standard headphone outputs, ensuring that high-impedance or low-sensitivity headphones get the volume and detail they need. The A70 Pro supports both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) inputs, making it easy to connect to a variety of sources. For outputs, it offers a 6.35mm single-ended jack, a 4.4mm balanced jack, and a four-pin XLR, covering a wide range of headphone connections. It can also function as a preamp with both balanced (XLR) and single-ended (RCA) line outputs for integration into a hi-fi system.
Its compact dimensions make it a great fit for both headphone setups and desktop hi-fi systems, where space is limited. The 12V trigger input and output allow it to sync power on/off with other devices, reducing the hassle of managing multiple components. The full-colour display provides clear playback information and can be customised to show FFT analysis, VU meters, or other useful data at a glance.
