First and foremost, the Astell&Kern ACRO CA1000T’s most immediately eye-catching feature is its pure level of connectivity. The forward-facing headphone ports include options for unbalanced 6.35mm and 3.5mm as well as balanced 4.4mm and 2.5mm. No matter how you want to listen or what you want to listen to, you can also find digital inputs, including optical, coaxial and USB-C, as well as Bluetooth and WiFi wireless connection with lossless hi-res aptX HD and LDAC formats. An XLR and analogue output are al to connect to external speakers.
Dual ES9039MPRO DAC
Experience exquisite audio anywhere. The ACRO CA1000T uses dual ES9039MPRO DACs, offering precision signal conversion with completely minimised noise, jitter and distortion. Choose between seven DAC filters to offer a sound response that is more to your liking, ranging from smooth roll-off, punchier bass or higher transience. The DAC features built-in stereo hardware MQA renderer as well as support for native DSD512 and up to 32bit/768kHz sampling. The CA1000T also supports network streaming through AK Connect and is certified Roon Ready.
Optimised Amp Design
The dual DAC design has been paired with two Twin Triode KORG Nutube tubes, offering heightened sound regardless of the CA1000T’s compact size. The twin circuit balances the signal path between right a left hand channels and delivers an overall more natural end result. Based entirely on your tastes, Astell&Kern have implanted advanced customisability, with three distinct amp modes. Select between TUBE AMP, OP AMP, or the new HYPBRID AMP modes. These options let you balance the amp’s audio characteristics between hi-res and a more retro expression.
