The JVC DLA-NZ7 D-ILA Projector is one of the first home cinema projectors to be capable of 8K at 60Hz and 4K at 120Hz. Two HDMI 2.1 inputs offer a full 48GBPS bandwidth which, when used in low latency mode, are a gamer’s dream. Assisted by JVC’s own third-generation BLU-Escent laser diode light and e-shift technology, images are upscaled with superior brightness and colour quality. HDR10+ with Auto Tone Mapping elevates low-quality images while a Theater Optimizer setting fine-tunes your display on account of variables like screen size, material, and lens zoom.

The DLA-NZ7 is one of three new laser projectors brought to market by JCV as replacements for their previous NX native 4K lamp projectors. Of the three—the DLA-NZ7, DLA-NZ8, and DLA-NZ9—this model sees LCoS laser projectors brought down to one of the most affordable positions on the market. With laser rather than lamp models, there will be no need to replace a lamp throughout the projector’s long lifespan of approximately 20,000 hours. This laser projector also boasts a faster start-up time so you can start watching sooner.
Big Screen Gaming
This JVC DLA-NZ7 and its NZ8 and NZ9 counterparts are some of the first projectors to offer HDMI HDMI 2.1 with a full 48 GBPS bandwidth. This model has two HDMI input ports so you can connect gaming consoles or additional screens. For great gaming, the HDMI 2.1 ports support 4K games with up to 120Hz frame rate. When playing in low latency mode, the delay between your source and the screen display is significantly reduced, thereby improving your reaction speeds and overall game operation.
All Glass Lens
Within the DLA-NZ7, a 65mm all-glass lens (17 elements in 15 groups) helps display all the details of 4 and 8K imagery. 2x optical zoom with powered zoom and focus allows you to adjust the projection size without diminishing the quality. Five ED lenses help project right up to the corners of your screen with calibration to prevent chromatic aberration.
HDR10+
The DLA-NZ7 D-ILA Projector supports various HDR formats including HDR10 and HDR10+ for broad colour definition and vitality. Frame Adapt HDR and Auto Tone Mapping compatibility ensure that image data is optimised for your viewing set-up and whichever HDR formats are being used. Content is adjusted frame-by-frame for images so realistic it’s as though you witnessed them first-hand. Gradation is improved with 12–18-bit gamma processing accuracy; making scenes smoother while retaining sharpness. In Frame Adapt Mode, the Theater Optimizer setting works to further enhance HDR images with an analysis of conditions like screen size and material.
BLU-Escent Laser Diode
The third generation of JVC’s BLU-Escent module is now available in a full range of JVC home cinema projectors. Previously found in the brand’s flagship DLA-RS4500, this high-performance laser technology greatly improves the HDR impact compared to previous lamp models.
