Apart from the distinctive minimalistic aesthetic, the Q Active 400 system is a haven for hi-res, HiFi home entertainment. The control hub, which comes packed with the speakers, features ports for ethernet, HDMI ARC, digital optical and analogue RCA; which includes a switch for line level and MM phono connections. You can also stream wirelessly with Chromecast built-in, as well as Bluetooth, Apple Airplay 2, Spotify and Roon Ready compatibility amongst others, letting you organise your music as well as integrate it into a multiroom system.
Once you have connected to your audio source, the Q Active control hub converts the signal into a high-resolution 24bit/96kHz digital file. This is transmitted wirelessly to the left and right Q Active 400 floorstanding speakers, meaning whether you’re listening to old-school vinyl, stereo home cinema or streaming wirelessly, the integrity of your audio is maintained and your room is kept clear of wiring.
