Key Features
The Q Acoustics 5000 Series sits between the highly acclaimed flagship Concept Series and the award-winning Q 3000i Series. This series consists of the 5010 Bookshelf, 5020 Standmount, 5040 Floorstanding, and 5090 Centre Speaker which combine perfectly with the existing range of Q Acoustics subwoofers to create the perfect home cinema speaker setup. Using our bundle configurator, you can tailor your 5000 Series speakers to the technical and acoustic requirements of your AV receiver and cinema room.
First seen in Q Acoustics' flagship Concept range, the Continuous Curved Cone (CCC) design has now been introduced to the 5000 Series to eradicate limitations arising from straight and flared cones. Thorough multi-disciplinary research and development aimed to blend the most desirable characteristics of both the straight cone's bass performance and the flared cone's mid-range control. Precision computer modelling was used to create the CCC profile. The result is a drive unit with superior dispersion, frequency and amplitude linearity. Moreover, the CCC is more resilient to modulation by standing waves within the cabinet. Delivering tighter bass with superior dynamic range and detail means you can be more flexible when installing your speaker without loss of quality.

The Q Acoustics Q 5040 Compact Floorstanding Speakers have been designed to perform for stereo hi-fi or as part of a wider home cinema system. Its most noteworthy feature is the addition of Continuous Curved Cone™ mid-bass drivers. This newly developed design, first featured in the Concept range, takes the greatest characteristics from both flare and straight type cone drivers and delivers the best mid and bass performance yet from the brand at this level.
The Q Acoustics Q 5010 Bookshelf Speakers have a sophisticated design that immerses you in your entertainment. With a compact size, the Q 5010 speakers produce a crisp, premium sound that will elevate your hi-fi or home cinema setups. The pioneering 4.5" C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver creates intricate, pounding beats. The mid/bass driver is equipped with seismic magnets with large voice coils to elevate the strength of the motor and boost the power handling.
The Q Acoustics Q 5020 Bookshelf Speakers create a room-filling sound that elevates your hi-fi and home cinema systems. Equipped with a five-inch C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass driver, the Q 5020 produces powerful beats and precise bass response. The bass reflex, the rear-ported system further advances the bass performance and transmits a mighty sound. To elevate your listening experience, you can place the Q 5020s on the Q Acoustics 3000FSi stands (sold separately) to make sure that the sharp sound reaches every corner of the room.
The Q Acoustics Q 5090 Centre Speaker is a refined sound solution that brings clarity and accuracy to your home cinema setup. It features two 4.5” C3 Continuous Curved Cone mid/bass drivers which deliver increased power handling, improved dispersion and an exceptional level of clarity throughout the sonic spectrum. These drivers flank the 1” tweeter, mechanically isolated from the front baffle and sealed to optimise performance and efficiency. With a frequency response of 57 Hz - 30 kHz and sensitivity of 90.5 dB, this speaker will completely enrich sound quality, imaging and immersion whether you’re watching your favourite films in a home theatre or television shows in your living room.
The Q B12 is the first in a new range of ultra powerful subwoofers, designed to integrate and complement Q Acoustics speaker ranges. They are the largest and most powerful subwoofer from Q Acoustics so far, with the amplifier’s proprietary PurePath Ultra-HD technology ensuring unwanted distortion is minimised across the board, resulting in a taut but forceful sound. The Q B12 boasts a long-throw 12-inch driver with high sensitivity and superb dynamics, powered by an ultra-low distortion 220W Texas Instruments TPA3255 Class D amplifier. Q B12 has a ‘dart brace’ internal design inside the subwoofer’s reinforced MDF cabinet with a 36mm baffle, providing superior mechanical stability to the driver and the reinforced rigidity reduces resonance and vibrations for an improved accurate bass response
