The JBL Stage Series Home Cinema Speaker Bundle lets you configure a full surround sound system from JBL’s Stage range. Each speaker uses uniform polycellulose drivers in a range of complementary sizes. The Stage range ensures that audio is optimised for your home cinema, with HDI waveguide technology lowering distortion and directing audio more purposefully towards your listening position.
Whether bookshelf speaker or floorstanding speaker, you’ll be able to create sound suitable for just about any size of home cinema room, with configurations available between 5.0 and 7.4 channels. High-Definition Imaging (HDI)
JBL use their proprietary High-Definition Imaging (HDI) technology throughout the speakers in this package. This waveguiding geometry ensures that their drivers are capable of delivering sound more efficiently and directionally than their contemporaries. The result is a crisper high-range, with every musical note directed towards the listener rather than dispersed, uncontrolled, around the room. A more controlled frequency also ensures smoother sounding transition between drivers.
Versatile Polycellulose Woofers
This speaker package features a range of woofer sizes, from the dual eight-inch drivers of the A190, to the six three-inch drivers of the A135C and the power of the twelve-inch woofer in the A120P. The common connection is that they all use the same basic materials and design to exhibit exceptional control and bass. This polycellulose construction allows the drivers to be better manipulated by the amplifier, even in the most demanding of moments. The result is JBL’s signature cinema quality bass.
Bi-wire / Bi-amping Terminals
Turn around the Stage floorstanding speakers and you will find that the five-way binding posts are perfectly suited for a range of connections and setups, with an impedance at 6 ohms and high sensitivity. Match these speakers with your choice of amplifier, with a recommended power compatibility between 20 and 220W. The versatility and relative comfort at which these speakers can be run opens them to both bi-wire and bi-amp installations, letting you dedicate power to high and low frequencies independently*.
The Power of Control
The Stage subwoofers have a plethora of configuration controls so you can harmonise with the speakers of this or any 5.1 system you are running. With an adjustable crossover level between 50Hz and 150Hz, make the transition to your subwoofer sound smooth, with room to cover the bass of smaller speakers with weaker low frequency capabilities. In addition, you will find a phase reverse switch to integrate the driver's motion with the rest of your setup, better blending with the sound of your speakers.

Only the JBL Stage floorstanding speakers have been fitted with high and low frequency binding posts suitable for bi-wire and bi-amping configurations. This function does not appear on the bookshelf or centre speakers.
