Key Features
The Audio Technica MC Step-Up Transformer can effortlessly handle a wide range of voltages, making it perfect for enhancing low-impedance moving coil (MC) cartridges. Its hand-wound, large-core transformer design boasts a 22 dB step-up ratio and 100 dB channel separation to help deliver an exceptional sound for your records. Partnering the excellent voltage versatility, the XLR output maintains a balanced signal from the cartridge all the way through to the phono preamp, ensuring serene audio integrity. There is also an option for an unbalanced RCA connection to allow for ample connectivity to a multitude of turntables and amplifiers.
Thanks to HANENITE rubber mounting, this transformer provides effective shock and vibration absorbency, allowing only the intended sound waves to pass through. Adding to the high-quality sound, the permalloy magnetic shielding blocks out any external noise to produce an immersive, uninterrupted listening experience. Moreover, the transformer features a durable, compact design to enable flexible positioning options.
