Key Features
Only a cable manufacturer with a stellar reputation in the industry can transfer their knowledge of traditional analogue interconnects seamlessly into the digital era. Supra's stunning USB 2.0 is a fine example of that with a rewarding impedance-matched cable that offers a dynamic, rich and detailed music experience. This award-winning cable is a beautiful match with almost any sub-£1,000 DAC or media streamer.

"There's an impressive amount of detail and yet the treble stops short of being too bright. When you consider the Supra's price, it's clear this cable punches well above its weight. At this price, it's a stunner."

In the earlier days, USB interface users were more accustomed to short runs to connect their equipment. With the growth of digital music integrating with Hi-Fi most USB cables are too prone to signal interference and certainly don't cut the mustard on longer runs. A much greater demand for a quality connection between these type of devices was needed since the failed bit transmissions from standard USB cables are instantly detected when listening. It was left to cable manufacturers with far greater experience with stereo interconnects such as Supra to develop a cable that bridges this flaw.
The USB 2.0 pulls from Supra's proven successful philosophy of coating the OFC conductors with a layer of tin. The great conductivity and anti-oxidising qualities of tin give beautifully smooth signal results which is protected by a good layer of screening. Each twisted pair of conductors for data and power are individually shielded to minimise interference even further with the final touches being 24k gold-plated plugs meaning no precious signal is lost at the start or end. High speed data speeds of up to 1200Mbps are guaranteed even up to 15m.
Supra USB 2.0 Features
Supra choose to plate their Oxygen Free Conductors (OFC) in tin after years of research into the negative effects oxygen has on 'normal' or common plating materials such as silver or gold. While you can't argue about the impressive conductive natures of these these lush commodities, it's the degrading effect over time that can result in harsher sounds. Tin has a benign effect on musical behaviour too leaving you less chance of feeling fatigued over long listening sessions.
