Supra's LoRad stands for Low Radiation, the base philosophy behind their patented screened mains flex which protects from both radiation and RF pick-up. As is the Supra way, three twisted 1.5mm gauge conductors are tin-plated for excellent artefact-free conductivity to give you a cleaner and more accurate sound. Use the Supra LoRad 1.5 mains cable on AV Amplifiers or even high-end TV screens and projectors.

Flexibility is also high up on the Supra thought-process with the LoRad 1.5 one of the few cables to pass the tough CE regulation flex test; a process of putting the cable under duress of 30,000 bands without the cable failing. If you're looking for a hard-wearing reliable mains cable then the Supra LoRad is possibly the only choice on the market.
It's also well known that bass notes are one of the frequencies that show the biggest improvement when cleaning up a mains signal. These meaty frequencies should sound tighter and offer better stereo definition when replacing a bog-standard IEC power cable. At the end of the day if you've spent thousands of pounds on a dedicated music or AV system, the cost of the Supra LoRad vs the benefits you can achieve should make this the easiest decision you ever have to make!
The Supra LoRad screened mains cable comes with the standard UK 3-pin mains plug and an IEC connection ('kettle plug' as we all casually refer to them as). We don't recommend this cable is used behind walls or underneath flooring where its presence can't be easily detected for safety reasons.
Supra Lo-Rad 1.5 Features
Supra choose to plate their Oxygen Free Conductors (OFC) in tin after years of research into the negative effects oxygen has on 'normal' or common plating materials such as silver or gold. While you can't argue about the impressive conductive natures of these these lush commodities, it's the degrading effect over time that can result in harsher sounds. Tin has a benign effect on musical behaviour too leaving you less chance of feeling fatigued over long listening sessions.
