This excellent cable features slightly larger tin-plated OFC conductors than the miniature 1.6 cable making it better for larger speakers and long runs. The flame-resistant PVC outer jacket adheres to all UK building regs too.

Why Tin-Plated?

Supra choose to plate their Oxygen Free Conductors (OFC) in tin after years of research into the negative effects oxygen has on 'normal' or common plating materials such as silver or gold. While you can't argue about the impressive conductive natures of these these lush commodities, it's the degrading effect over time that can result in harsher sounds. Tin has a benign effect on musical behaviour too leaving you less chance of feeling fatigued over long listening sessions.
