Key Features
JitterBug is a USB data and power noise filter. Dual discreet noise dissipation circuits reduce the noise of ringing that are common in both the data and power lines of USB ports. The Jitterbug will measurably reduce jitter and packet errors and improve dynamic contrast, warmth and resolution.
All computing devices, be it a laptop or NAS drive inherently generate a significant amount of noise and parasitic resonances. Computers also contribute RFI and EMI pollution on to the signal paths. These easily find there way to your USB cables and into your audio system. JitterBug’s dual-circuitry measurably reduces unwanted noise currents and parasitic resonances. It also reduces jitter and packet errors (in some cases, packet errors are completely eliminated). The Result is a clearer and more compelling sound.

"It might not look like much, but for the results it produces this affordable USB upgrade is well worth investigating."
"If you are making serious use of USB audio, it's a no-brainer. It's cheap, unobtrusive and gives pretty much any DAC a better signal to work with."
"A USB (Type A) dongle with a Type A socket at the opposite end, AudioQuest’s JitterBug slots in between a laptop and a USB DAC to filter out ‘nasties’ by reducing the amount of electrical noise generated by the computer. It acts as a line conditioner for the 5V DC USB voltage bus and a signal filter for the USB data line – and the results it is capable of are nothing short of astonishing. The sound is subjectively tidier and better focused, while lab tests confirm that both noise and jitter are significantly improved. Considering it’s the price of a takeaway for the family, it’s impossible not to be enticed."

Slightly smaller than AudioQuest's DragonFly USB DAC, JitterBug has a USB (male) plug on one end and a USB (female) port on the opposite. For those who already own DragonFly, JitterBug will be a fun and affordable upgrade. Simply plug JitterBug into any one of a computer’s available USB ports, then plug DragonFly into JitterBug’s USB port.
Use one JitterBug in series (in line) with any computer and USB DAC (digital-to-analog converter).
Use an additional JitterBug in parallel with the first for improved playback performance.
Use JitterBug with other locally connected USB devices, such as hard drives, printers, and cameras, to effectively reduce audio interference.
Use JitterBug with USB-enabled network devices, such as routers, NAS devices, and streamers.
Use JitterBug with mobile devices into audio systems in the home and in the car.
