The latest addition to our Pure Hi-Fi lineup, the affordable A-9010 Integrated Stereo Amplifier was tuned in the UK with specially modified circuitries and four audio-grade capacitors to deliver the warm, full-bodied sound European listeners prefer. A large transformer, discrete amplifier output stage, and unique high-current, low impedance circuitry enables precise control of the speaker drivers with minimal distortion, while a thick extruded aluminum heat sink keeps everything running cool. Connect All Your Gear
On the rear panel you’ll find four pairs of pin-type RCA analog audio inputs and one output. That’s more than enough to connect the CD player, tuner, or cassette deck you have already—or perhaps you could add our new C-N7050 Network CD Player that combines Hi-Res network audio streaming, internet radio, USB audio, and a top-quality CD player all in one device. There’s also a 3.5 mm analogue input on the front panel that makes it easy to hook up your phone or tablet and get the tunes happening in moments.
Separate Headphone Amplification Circuitry
Live it up even when you’re told to keep it down. The A-9010 includes an independent headphone amplifier powerful enough to drive high-impedance cans with a sound signature that’s clear and detailed. We also include a proper 6.3 mm headphone input for a safe and secure connection to your headphones.
Better Construction Equals Better Performance
The A-9010’s chassis is designed to isolate the audio signal from vibrations that cause interference during the amplification process. Other appealing points include gold-plated, banana-plug-compatible speaker posts with transparent screw-type knobs. These speaker terminals are connected to the amp circuitry via thick speaker plates rather than speaker relays to preserve signal integrity and improve resultant sound quality. Aesthetically, the A-9010 pleases every sense, with sweet proportions and classic metal knobs for the major controls that look and feel like they belong on a more expensive amplifier.
Control Your System with One Remote
Remote Interactive (RI) terminals let you operate other compatible audio components (such as a CD player or tuner) in your system using a single remote control. RI capability also adds functionality when Onkyo’s DS-A5 RI Dock for iPod is connected to another component, including System On/Off, Auto Power On, and Auto Selector. We also include a full-sized remote—not a flimsy credit card-sized type—to make controlling the A-9010 easy.
