The Atacama HD-S 20mm Dia Floor Spike Shoes have been designed to complement Atacama’s Duo, Nexus, Aurora, and smaller SL speaker stands. However, they aren't brand-specific, so they can also be used with other spiked furniture, provided the weight tolerance guidelines are followed. With a 20mm diameter, these High Density-Small (HD-S) shoes are suitable for small to medium speaker stands, supporting a maximum weight of 70kg across all four shoes. They are particularly useful for spreading the load on soft flooring materials like pinewood planks.
Constructed from a durable copper/zinc alloy, Atacama's high-density spike shoes feature a hole on the upper surface to securely position the spike. On the lower surface, a non-slip E.P.D.M. elastomer membrane protects delicate floor coverings while enhancing sound dampening. They are available in two colours to match or complement most modern hi-fi equipment, satin black or nickel silver.
