HEOS: Connect and Control

The PM7000N is the first fully discrete, current feedback integrated hi-fi amplifier from Marantz complete with the ability to control and connect multiply located sources via HEOS built in. Enjoy all your Spotify, Amazon Music HD, Deezer, and Tidal playlists synced in one convenient place on your personal devices. Choose which speakers or room you wish to stream to and enjoy complete wireless freedom. As well as access to an almost unlimited amount of music, you can also access and instantly stream internet radio stations from the PM7000N to your compatible speakers.

High Power and Discrete

Thanks to Marantz’s own discrete HDAM-SA3 circuit, responsible for stably converting voltage to current, sound is produced at high speeds with a wide bandwidth. Sit back while your new PM7000N fills your rooms with sound in an instant. Being a discrete amplifier, the PM7000N has separate power components for pre and power sections. This helps reduce interference between circuitry for significantly reduced distortion.

High-Resolution Decoding

As well as being high-speed, the PM7000N provides high-resolution audio support. It can decode audio files such as Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC), Free Lossless Audio Codec (FLAC), and WAV up to 24-bit/192-kHz for supreme quality with all the detail. With further decoding ability for DSD 2.8MHz and 5.6MHz tracks, listen just as your favourite artists envisioned. USB and network source compatibility allow such formats to be played directly.

Connection and Compatibility

The PM7000N features several input and output options to help you amplify your separates. Firstly, two 60-Watt (8 ohm rms) channels and further subwoofer pre-out get you connected to your hi-fi speakers. Two optical, one coaxial, and one USB-A input offer data transfer between audio or video devices. Moreover, if you love vinyl but want bigger and better sound, the phono input with Marantz’s new FET input stage enhances signal purity and gives the sound an overall boost.

Sonic Performance

With a shielded toroidal transformer among its circuitry components, the PM7000N efficiently transforms power and further minimises electromagnetic interference between the adjacent components. Such features make streaming from the PM700N clean sounding, true to the original, and high-powered for achieving the volume you want without compromise. Front panel equaliser dials ensure you can control your sound and achieve the desired levels.
