Key Features
The iFi Audio ZEN DAC V2 / Headphone Amp is primed to deliver clear and tonally even sound from your digital sources. The compact footprint of ZEN DAC V2 fits nicely into any set-up, whether you choose to place it on your desk or your hi-fi rack. Supporting PCM and DXD to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD256 and MQA files, the ZEN DAC V2 is equipped to handle a variety of digital sources with 'TrueBass' providing an efficient bass boost that doesn't muddy the mids. With RCA and Balanced 4.4mm outputs the ZEN DAC V2 is also capable of powering the most demanding headphones, with PowerMatch aiding in powering low impedance models. Alternatively, the variable and fixed settings allow you to utilise the ZEN DAC V2 as a pre-amp to feed to your power amp or active speakers.

The low-latency XMOS microcontroller is packed with processing power. The new 16-core design delivers double the clock speed and four times the memory over its predecessor with the latest SuperSpeed USB standard. This enables fast processing of your audio data via the input leading to optimised sound quality.
In conjunction with the XMOS microcontroller, the Burr-Brown chipset allows you to hear your music the way the artist intended, in the higher format it was recorded. It ensures bit-perfect files so they remain unchanged allowing you to hear details in your favourite tracks like never before.
REBalance literally rebalances the signal to address the common problem of clicks caused by jitter and ensure that the digital signal received by the DAC is identical to the source, no matter which audio format is being played.
'SuperSpeed' USB 3.0 has a more exhaustive wiring specification which allows for a greater amount of audio transfer while still being backwards compatible. The units incorporate high-quality gold-plated connectors for optimal signal transfer.
Based on military tech, Active Noise Cancellation II generates a signal identical to that of the incoming electrical noise but in the opposite phase, actively cancelling it out. This is highly effective at removing low-and-mid-frequency noise, while passive insulating filters check higher-frequency interference.
